Hello and Welcome to our News Page. Here you will find out about upcoming products, events, and some bragging and pictures about our own pets! May 31st, Time for some pictures!! Ripper passed Pup Camp (though he promptly forgot everything as we walked out the door!) Here are some pictures of him at camp, a few of his doggie friends, and some back yard pictures with big brothers Ralph and Merlin.
This "smile" is almost permanent!

Remembering everyone is confusing!
Now I remember you!
Tunnels are fun, maybe that's why I'm trying to dig a few in the back yard!

And another picture of Ralph, the "old man white" around the eyes is really starting to come in!
May 15th Well it has been a while since I updated this page! Since the last update, we have added to the family! The newest addition is "Ripper" (as in he rips around the house) another Border Collie. He is now about 6 months old, and was a stray. One look into his big brown eyes and we were goners!! He has been with us since April 1 and is fitting in well. Ralph, the oldest, watches the puppy antics and occasionally reminds Ripper of his manners (but very gently). He quickly taught the "baby" that jumping in someone's face is not a good idea, and going outside to the bathroom was a great idea (not one single accident in the house, pretty impressive, but he IS a Border). Merlin has become a fantastic "big brother". As he is a real "Mommy's boy", we were worried about jealousy and the like. No problem, after the first couple of days, Merlin took over as the babysitter and play toy! Wherever Merlin is, Ripper is right behind copying his every move. Smudge the cat took a little longer to accept the rambunctious little brother who was actually bigger than him. But after two weeks of spitting at the newest addition, Smudge decided that he was just as good to play with as the big dogs! Now it's is Smudge that we have to tell to be careful and gentle! Pictures coming! January 5, 2009 Happy New Year!! We decided to start off the new year by giving back a little to our community. As you may imagine, we here at DogSuppliesSite receive many requests for donations and products. We are unable to fulfill all the requests we receive so we have decided to lend our support to a local rescue group here in Alberta. The group that we have chosen is: Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society. http://www.albertaanimalrescuecrew.com/ This fantastic group of people rescue abandoned, surrendered and abused small animals from First Nations Communities in Central Alberta. On boxing day alone, they were able to rescue 11 dogs, many of them just pups. There is a great core of people who foster these animals until forever homes can be found. We will be providing collars for as many dogs (and cats) as possible. Please check out their website for some great pictures and heartwarming stories of rescues and adoptions. Maybe your new best friend is waiting there! Dec 1, 2008 We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our pets. We currently have 2 dogs, Ralph and Merlin both Border Collie Mixes, and 1 quickly growing kitten. Both of our dogs are rescues and the kitten, Smudge, was only 3 weeks old and 300 grams when we started to foster/adopt him. Ralph, currently 11, tends to avoid Smudge, while Merlin, at 5, has found a new toy. Smudge does well at letting Merlin know who is the boss, though he seems to be the aggressor and poor Merlin's nose takes a beating some days! Ralph The Boss Age 11 Years
